Tapas for a Tenner on a Friday night - this is four dishes and a glass of wine for £10 and since there were 4 of us that became virtually the whole menu and a bottle of wine. Absolutely fantastic local, fresh, authentic, friendly restaurant. Absolutely cannot recommend it highly enough. Only trouble is, now I compare every other Italian to this one and none ever quite stack up! more

The Hazel Pear at first appears to be a tradional pub, welcoming, friendly, good beer, roaring fire, but then you see the menu and realise that it is a lot more than that. The Friday evening tapas are the best I have eaten outside of Spain. And the value is amazing, 4 for £10 and this includes a big glass... more
