If you go on the Kuranda tour (train or sky rail), and do not care for wasting your time looking at the many too touristic shops, I would highly recommend the interpretive river boat tour with Warren - where you will spend 45 relaxed and enjoyable minutes on the Byron river for a mere AUD 15 listening to interesting and... more

Loved it - my second time - very scenic and my 3 year old loved it too. Relaxing on way up there too $41 per adult one way. more

What a great spot in the rainforest. The hospitality was absolutely perfect with great food and real insight of the surroundings. Sitting on the beautiful veranda and having fresh baked breakfast listening to the birds and watching the wallabies was a dream. We traveled AU for a month and this was our favorite spot.
