We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting relatives in Melton Mowbray. We tried other hotels in the area but they were fully booked - Scalford Hall wasn't - this should have given us a clue !! The hotel looks very nice and is obviously designed for weddings and conferences, as stated by other reviewers. Do not go to this hotel... more

Liz and I had been to the Regal Cinema in Melton to watch "Nativity" (funny and touching little film, super little cinema) and decided we'd stay out and get a bite to eat.
