I was on a course for 3 days at Staverton Park, and wanted to leave from the moment I arrived. During the week, this is primarily a conference venue. They already have your money and it shows! I booked the hotel for a group of 11 family members (age ranging from 36 - 60), for my twin brothers' 40th birthday. The lady I did the booking with, Annette Lee, was superb and extremely professional. About everything that could go wrong, went wrong! Dirty room, shower not working, bath water notworking, dirty cutlery, culminating in my husband suffering from a severe bout of food poisoning on the Friday evening. We are in the process of seeking compensation. more
