We stayed here as part of our holiday, as we wanted somewhere near both Alton Towers and Drayton Manor. We booked the Wychnor on Hotels.com as the price was very reasonable for somewhere that had a pool. When we arrived down the very narrow country lane, we couldn't believe our luck. We exchanged our timeshare at Disneyworld for one week here and were so happy with the exchange as the staff were so genuinely friendly! The apt was very clean and adequate for our family. Large room, shared by 3 people. Clean, but in desperate need of refurbishment. Reception staff brisk but not particularly efficient - had to prise themselves off a personal telephone call to speak with us. We had a room fronting the A38, and wished we hadn't - traffic noise all lnight. more
