This hotel and apartment complex is owned by the Federal Group under the brand name "Pure Tasmania", as is much of the accommodation, facilities and tours in Strahan. The Gordon River Cruise was quite average. The beginning of the trip was quite good, where you travel out through the heads just into the ocean. But the scenery was quite repetitive on the river cruise portion. I usually love national parks etc, but I also prefer to explore them on my own, so the 'tour"aspect grated on my nerves... more
