I have to agree with some of the reviews regarding the noise. We had to keep the wall fan running all night just to drown out the noise from all the tractor-trailers and what not. The bed was comfortable and the in room jazuzzi tub was a added bonus. However, it wasnt clean. The tub had a spider in it... more
We love the Buck Hotel & Tavern. The food is wonderful, home cooking at its finest. The soup is fantastic. Surprised the place isn't packed every day/night. The atmosphere is Cheers Jonestown - everybody knows your name. Trish & Matt are the perfect hosts. Whether for a snack or a full course delicious, inexpensive meal, check out the Buck. New... more
First of all, I would like to say that I have stayed at this hotel two times previoulsy. This time around was different and Im not sure why. I can safely say I will never stay here again. The mattress in our room was HORRIBLE. It felt like you were sleeping on two box springs. The pillows were absolutely impossible... more
We were in town for a rabbit convention through PASRBA. Our stay didn't start off too well. Upon arriving, I walked into the lobby in order to check in to find several parts of the ceiling leaking. It was bad weather and raining when we arrived. I just couldn't figure out how a 3 story hotel was leaking from the... more
We stayed Dec 13-14th. Checked in after midnight and were greeted by a friendly desk clerk who was knowledgeable about the area and the event we were attending. He gave us written directions to our final destination without being asked. The room was a huge king business suite for $65 a night. Clean, well maintained, comfortable. Everything was in working... more
I was giving a presentation at a conference in Indiantown Gap and the organizers booked this room for me. They got a pretty good rate on the place ($78, I believe). All-in-all I was fairly pleased with the hotel, but there were a few things lacking. The king-size bed was pretty sweet. The rooms are huge -- definitely plenty of... more
I'm writing this before I check out so I won't forget to do it, as usual. There are 3 floors in this hotel. My room was in the back of the hotel, relatively quiet (I could hear the TV in the next room, when mine wasn't on). The room was larger than I expected. The hotel is very clean. I... more
I stayed there with my mother at this hotel using a coupon off the interstate. Coupon was honored. This hotel has 3 stories with one elevator which was handy with lots of luggage. The room was very nice.Bedding is very comfortable with light fluffy quilts under bed spread. Note: Some rooms do not have fridge or microwave in it. The... more
Stay here while on a business Trip, When I checked in the Red Hair Lady was really Rude to the customers infront of me , and then she was totally rude to me also. When I checked in the room was really nasty and smelly. There was also a Spa there that was closed , the gym had 2 work... more
We recently spent 2 nights here while visiting Hershey. This hotel is about 30 minutes from Hershey. We booked this hotel because it was much cheaper than hotels closer to Hershey. When we first checked in they gave us a room that was in the front of the building. When we walked into the room I thought the windows were... more
We spent two nights here in a suite while attending a sports tournament at a local high school with our son. The hotel is new-looking, clean and quiet. It is very conveniently located a few steps away from three kid-friendly restaurants, and very quiet despite having easy access to the highway. The only complaint I could possibly have is that... more
Stayed at the Lickdale Days Inn in April 2007 on my way back from NE Pennsylvania. Room was clean, beds comfortable and shower nice and strong. Continental breakfast had a good variety and the was enough seating. The hotel could use a good freshening up. Although clean, the hotel seemed a bit old and "dark". Smoking rooms are on the... more
My husband and I wanted to get away for a weekend of "alone" time. We selected this hotel because it was only 35 minutes from our home, located in the middle of nowhere, had an indoor pool and king jacuzzi rooms with a big 2 person jacuzzi in the living area of the room. The man that checked us in... more
First stop hotel after long flight from Heathrow to Newark - then a drive - found hotel very easily - just off interstate. Room was adequate size for 2 adults and 2 children and very clean. All public areas nice and clean and the small indoor pool was great for relaxing. Nice free breakfast including waffel maker. Staff were very... more
This hotel was easily located off of Rt. 72 and has 3 places to eat, and a gas station right across the parking lot. It is very close to everything we came for and also 5 minutes from a State Park. The staff was very helpful and professional and the breakfast was terrific. Also very clean, with pool and fitness... more
I stayed at the Days Inn last month. It is right off I-81 and very clean. The people were friendly and it is rated 5 sunburst(the highest rating Days Inn has). The free continental breakfast had good variety and they also have high speed internet. If you travelling through the area, save yourself some money from those Harrisburg and Hershey... more
