We came upon the Indian Rock after a few stays down the road a piece in other Bucks County (mostly New Hope, PA) inns, spending twice as much! The Indian Rock is a great "all inclusive" place to stay - they have nice comfortable, clean, and charming rooms, a good restaurant and a nice bar with seating outside for all!!... more

We had an absolutely idyllic weekend. Our room was cozy, the porch overlooking the river, sublime. The breakfasts and afternoon refreshments were out of this world. Our hostess, Judy, was friendly and very helpful. Just wonderful! more

We searched for an Inn not too far from New Hope, PA but a little further up away from the hustle and bustle and came upon Indian Rock which turned out to be a gem!!! It is not a fancy, pompous inn but a lovely, comfortable, scenic and charming place to stay. The hosts and all of the staff were... more

I just returned from a fantastic stay at the BH. The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, & warm. I loved the view of the river from my screened-in portch off my room, or the longe chairs in the garden. And, the location was great! A short walk across the Milford bridge to great restaurants. Beautiful walks on the towpath along the... more

What a lovely Inn. Not stuffy and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Convenient to restaurants and boating on the Delaware. Big, fluffy beds and a lovely porch overlooking the river. Breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely be back. more

I must say that I drove past the Indian Rock and stopped inside to see the restaurant and accomodations. After my tour, I did not stay there. My reasons: neither the location (near a closed road, across a street, traffic barrier and raveen from the Delaware River), nor the exterior appearance (dilapidated building, the name of the hotel worn out... more

We were greeted by Crystal, a delightfully friendly employee, introduced to the amenities and shown to our room. The comfortable second floor room, with a small, private balcony, overlooked the river. Geese swam in the twilight, along with the boats coming in at the end of the day. We woke to the patter of raindrops on the water, and a... more

The Inn is in a perfect location with good access to local sights and activities. The river view from our room (Penthouse) was absolutely beautiful. The staff is very friendly and so accomodating (Judy loaned us her personal lawn chairs for the concert!). They know the area including local restaurants and are very eager to help with plans and to... more

Despite it's melodramatic Gone with the Wind connotation, you won't be swept off your feet ala Vivian Leigh with dinner at Tara...because, frankly Scarlett, the owner/chef "doesn't give a damn." Like others before us, we were attracted to Tara by its exclusive and reclusive characteristics. The owners do not advertise and do not have a website. The reviews we were... more

Great place to stay for families. Clean, friendly, and lots of recent upgrades. I have to mention the firewood for sale up the block (take a right out of the campground). A young boy cut and stacked the wood to make extra money over the summer. Very industrious young man. If you need campfire wood check him out! more

Our stay at the Bridgeton House was prompted by a wonderful family event not far not far from the site of the B and B. Hospitality was first class, the food was very good, the overstuffed feather bed was lush and comfy, and the whimsical monkey motif(see no evil.speak no evil.hear no evil) in the room(# 1) was delightful. A... more

We stayed here on our Wedding Night and the following night. Both mornings we were greeted with the Sun through our balcony sliding glass doors. The breakfasts were delicious and different both mornings, and we had the option to sit at a small table for two. The entire place was quite homey and the decor was very cool and ecclectic... more

This was our second trip to the Bridgeton House in 20 years and it has all the charm and warmth we remembered and then some. The Innkeeper/Desk person was absolutely wonderful, from making dinner recommendations for us to making fresh coffee and baked goodies for us in the afternoon after a long bike ride. The Inn seems better, cleaner, more... more

The room was beautifully decorated, warm, cozy and romantic. The innkeeper called us and gave us directions on how to check in. Upon arrival he showed us the property, provided us with dining suggestions and showed us all the amenities that were available. The breakfast was truly delicious and nicely presented. A lot of emphasis on detail, we loved it... more

The location of this lovely B & B could not be more beautiful. We loved it! We haven't "run off" together alone ever and this was the perfect sanctuary. There is no intrusions and no phone calls, just you and the one you love in a beautiful room...We had Room 8 and it was so quaint, we want to try... more

The Bridgeton House was first class from the staff (we loved Katie!), to the food, to the view, right down to every little extra touch that was noticed and appreciated. We stayed at this B&B to get away and we felt so relaxed, comfortable and pampered. Our room was outstanding and we were REALLY sad to leave! I will go... more

My husband and I stayed at the Bridgeton House Inn on Dec. 27, 2007. Though it was only one night, it was our first night at a B&B. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised that this was a very sweet little place. You have to ring the doorbell and wait for them to let you... more

This B&B is a gem. A quick trip from Ny/Nj and one that should be taken. The rooms are clean and each one is unique. The staff is warm and helpful. The breakfast is superb. We ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant in a private home. I can't recall the name, the staff will know it is A MUST! I... more

We have been dining at Tara for nearly 10 years and each occasion has been a memory in the making. Dining at Tara is like taking a trip to Italy for dinner. Jim is the consumate host, and his wife Rita's nightly preparations are out of this world. Tara is by far my favorite restaurant anywhere. Dining is by reservation... more
