I come from the Isle of Lewis and have worked in many of it's hotels, but Hebrides self-catering accommodation is by far the best place to stay. I travelled home from Glasgow with a friend to surprise her sister on her birthday, and we were recommended by a family member to book Hebrides self-catering. Fantastic welcome from Margaret and Bill. Lovely house with every amenity you can think of, spotlessly clean and comfy beds. Yummy breakfast with so much choice it was difficult to decide. Margaret was a fount of knowledge about the area and apologised for the weather!! - hardly her fault. Wish we could have stayed for more than the one night... more
