We have read many different reviews on various sites regarding the Claymore Hotel at Arrochar. We travelled with National Holdays on a four day break. I was staying at the hotel for a dinner dance and have actually been to 4 different occasions at the hotel in the past year. Enjoyed the location and the atmosphere however the food has changed considerably to a "cordon bleu" 5 * menu size portions, not suited to a country hotel at all. I wouldnt like to be out... more

went with national holidays 5 days scotland inclusive. stayed at the Claymore Hotel. meals realy good. entertainment good, hotel rooms good, but some of rooms cold when we arrived but were heaters were installed as soon we reported to the management.. host was elaine and what a great host she was. had no complaints with any of staff they all... more
