We've just returned home after walking the West Highland Way and of the eight different hotels/B&B's we stayed in, this one was by far the best. It's run by a couple who put the comfort of their guests above everything and it really shows. Comfortable rooms, lovely guest lounge, fantastic home cooked food, more toiletries than you could ever use... more

Ewich House has been one of the best B & B's we have had the pleasure of staying in (a party of 6 for three wonderful nights). Ian & Debbie extended a very warm welcome to all of us, making us feel at home right away. The rooms were very comfortable and had every thing we could have wanted, a... more

This is our favourite B & B, by far! We discovered it by chance two years ago, as we needed an overnight stop between Merseyside and Skye. It is ideally placed for this, and we have stayed at Ewich House several times since en route to Skye. Our hosts Deb and Ian are lovely - they could not be more... more

We have stopped at Ewich House a number of times now and have never been disappointed. Hence we will continue to return whenever we have the opportunity. The accomodation, food and friendly hospitality are second to none. If you are travelling through Scotland or wishing to stay in the Tyndrum area this is the place to stop off, stay and... more

This B&B is a real find and we will definitely be going back there. The location is wonderful, the accommodation extremely comfortable and Debbie and Ian are great hosts. The food in particular is amazing, with home cooked, organic food. Eggs come from the hens in the garden and if you have scrambled eggs for breakfast you will never want... more

We have stayed in Ewich House many times and have never been disappointed. Debbie and Ian are great hosts and always go that extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area. more

I have to admit that I stole the Carlsberg comment from my sister following our first visit to this fantastic guest house earlier in the Summer! But it really does sum up how we feel about our Ewich House experience... In June we stayed there en-route to Drumnadrochit, where we were holidaying for a week in a cottage as a... more

My daughter, son-in-law, and I recently hiked the West Highland Way in Scotland, and our overnight stay at the Ewich House was delightful. This extremely lovely and nearly 200 year old house is just a short detour off of the hiking path, and well worth the extra steps we took. Our host's warm welcome and helpful orientation made us feel... more

We are just another very satisfied visitor. We stayed at Ewich for 3 nights and found it a great place for exploring the area. We took the train to Maileg and back one day and it was magical. you can catch from the station in town. You can easily explore the many lochs or go to Oban or Fort William... more

I have now been to Ewich house twice! The first visit was in June 08 when a few friends and I travelled up to Ewich House for a couple of days & Nights. We were all on our motorbikes and were welcomed into Ian and Debbie’s home with open arms. Instantly we were made to feel at home, which is... more

A relaxed, friendly, family run hotel in a great location. The views from the cosy lounge were stunning, with a well stocked library of books on the local area and a conservatory on the front of the house with views over the beautiful garden (with bird feeders and as a consequence lots of local birds!) and mountains beyond. The room... more

Last week we stayed 5 days in Ewich House and we intended to write an original review. That wasn’t so easy, because such as everyone we were only satisfied with the fantastic scottish breakfast, the neat chambers, the beautiful surroundings, it couldn’t be better and also not more beautiful. Especially the hospitality of Deb and Ian was excellent, especially the... more

We stayed here for only 1 night but wish we had made it longer, we found Deb & Ian to be very warm friendly Hostess. Breakfast was fantasic and the packed lunch we got was great as well (old fashioned door stop sandwich). Our room was well equipped and had little extras (hand cream, earbuds, bodywash etc) which was a nice... more

I've spent the past 7 years traveling back and forth between New York and the Isle of Skye and have tried every combination of travel, from doing it all in one shot to arriving in Glasgow and staying City Centre before traveling on. This year, I wanted to break up the long journey and show off Scotland to my boyfriend... more

Ewich House is awesome. Given the age of "constructive criticism" in which we live in I was trying to think of something "constructive" (i.e. negative) to write. But I genuinely can't. The beds were comfy, the rooms have everything you need, the bathrooms are spacious, the surroundings are awesome. I could go on. But the two outstanding attributes that I... more
