We were in Killin August 29 and 30th. It is a beautiful little town at the bottom of Loch Tay. We were attending a wedding down the road at the Bridge of Lochay Inn. Seeking somewhere to stay while touring Scotland, saw the VACANCY sign just over the bridge by the Killen falls. Car park on site. Very warm reception and all 3 en suite rooms shown to us. We booked this hotel at the last minute for one night to use as a base for walking. Our expectations weren't very high as there wasn't a lot of availability left in Killin, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They were clearly short staffed on the night we stayed but they maintained professionalism... more
