Stayed for long weekend at the Clachaig, splendid setting, decent food and friendly helpful staff, the only thing letting the Clachaig down was the very tired and in some places grubby room. Make no mistake - The Clachaig is an inn not a hotel. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms (the motel style rooms at the rear of the inn) and we found both the room and its furniture were tired and not particularly clean. The room was also dingy.
