This Hotel, is an example for others of it's ilk to emulate. Saul and his charming wife Judith run their hotel as an extension of their home, and treat guests as if they were friends who had decided to stay for a few days. We arrived and had some reservations after reading the comments of others. It is a most impressive stately building in a very beautiful setting. The "small double" room we had booked was as large as most "chain" double hotels and had a superb bathroom and very comfortable bed. Dinner (we stayed three nights and had dinner on two) was good.... more
