Our family recently stayed at the Townsend Gateway Inn, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are newly renovated and are very nicely decorated and very clean. It was a very cozy place to stay, and the rates are very reasonable. So close to Cades Cove too ! Put this on your list of places to stay... more

Good service, nice atmosphere, great steak. The prices are a little steep but for townsend a white table cloth is very nice to see more

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast....the place was filled with locals. The locals however would rather eat bad food for cheap instaed of quality food. (Like a bad waffle house) My wife ordered an omlet and I ordered country ham (both were terrible) My wife then points out a huge roach on the wall next to our table.... more
