This is the only reason to visit Marfa. We stayed in one of the two-bedroom suites, which was a great deal when you factored the number of people. One of the bedrooms had a ghastly view--the garbage dumpster in the alley, and the neighbor's dogs, so we kept the curtains drawn. The hotel restaurant was pretty decent. more

While trying to book a last minute New Year's trip we decided to give Marfa a shot as almost everything in every city was booked. We called all the nicer sounding hotels and they were also full. Upon calling the Paisano the lady at the front desk answered that they were fully booked except for the "Rock Hudson suite tonight."... more
