Great place to stay if you're stuck in the middle of no-where in the Texas panhandle. Extremely clean, quiet. Not much to Vernon with very limited eating choices, but this is a good place to stay if you can't reach Amarillo or Witchita Falls. more

This small town, has a great hotel! It is locally owned. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in about 3 years, but I think this one, has above normal accommodations. Usually we stay at Super 8's when we travel with our dog but the local Super 8 didn't get very good reviews so we tried the Best Western.
