My husband, toddler, and I stayed here 1 night during a recent trip. The hotel was great - very friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms. Continental breakfast was also quite nice. more
We found the hotel was offering most of the Hampton features. It appears that management at the various Hampton Inns have discretion on minor offerings. The breakfast variety was OK. The room's bathroom supplies did not contain the shower gel as I have seen at other Hamptons. Our room was missing the shampoo, and I needed to go the the Desk... more
I'm not sure why there have only been 3 reviews and all of them in 2006. In any case my wife and I stayed there last month (Memorial Day weekend) while visiting our daughter's family and we had stayed there a few other times in the past. In general it seems a pretty good place with a convenient location although... more
Staff were nice but that was it! Dirty, dingy and smelly! more
My daughter was entering the U.S. Marine Corps at Quantico, Virginia (about 5 miles away from this hotel). On May 27th, 2008, she stayed at the Days Inn in Dumfries, VA. Through the night, somebody broke out the back window of her vehicle while it was on the Days Inn parking lot, stealing a GPS system and other valuables in... more
Great place to take the kids and good Greek food for the parents. Fast friendly service. A nice place owned by local people. more
The best thing about Jojo's is the sprinkles. more
We just returned from a vacation to Washington DC. Our stay at the Hampton Inn was great. The staff was so friendly, congenial and helpful. The rooms were spacious, well maintained and the beds were so comfortable. The hot/cold complimentary breakfast bar was fantastic. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub each day after walking aroung Washington. We would... more
I must say I was very impressed with the decor and the rooms. Definately not your normal comfort Inn that you see off to the road on the interstate. The bathrooms are very clean and has an elegant feeling to the design. The view of the trees of the back the hotel is wonderful and the Italian restaurnat is in... more
For the price near DC, it is a decent value. Our total was $61.00. When we first checked in we had to switch rooms because the one the desk clerk gave us had not been cleaned yet. When I called to the front desk, the clerk came right up and let us in to a new room. The double bed... more
I went to visit my fiance at the Quantico Marine Corps base twice in Feb and March of 2008, and I stayed at the Holiday Inn both times. This is an excellent hotel. It is brand new. The rooms are clean and comfy. They have flat screen TVs in all the rooms and free internet access. The pool/hot tub area... more
Had a business trip to Quantico and stayed at this Hampton Inn. Here’s the quick review of the hotel: • Nice public area • Good breakfast • Clean, comfortable, very acceptable room • Exercise room was too small and under-equipped – three machines total and all were in use at the 6 a.m. opening time more
This is a new hotel near Washington D.C. It has a large room, with a great bed, bathtub & complimentary internet (travellers: bring a cable) and free parking. Free full breakfast. The hotel also has a indoor pool and fitness area which we didn't use, so no opinion on that. It's next to a new Marine Museum which just opened... more
After a few of us stayed at this motel for part of a week, some of us ended up with bedbug bites!!! Upon complaining to the motel staff, there were many promises of apology letters, etc., none of which happened. The owner was either out of town or "maybe he forgot to sign the letter" or whatever. I guess they... more
We stayed at the Hampton Inn on our way home to Pa. from picking up our son at Camp Lejuene, N.C. We chose this area to stay because of being close to the National Marine museum at Quantico(2 Miles) and that we have not been disapointed at any of our says at any of the Hampton Inns in recent years.... more
Place was clean, everything worked, rooms are old and lobby maybe one of the worse I ever been in, but priced right for a overnight stay. more
I was in the Virginia area as I had a committment at the nearby marine base, and while there are a great many hotels to choose from, this one was a great deal, not to mention it was brand new. I stayed from a Thursday to Sunday. The main foyer is beautiful - adorned in marble and contemporary furniture. There... more
New property which was having all kinds of problems during my stay. Water was literally running through the ceiling causing a closure of elevators and resulting in quite a mess. Unlike other local hotels, no free breakfast although a restaurant is on the premises. Room was large with nice large flat screen TV. Cleanliness and maintenance were so-so for such... more
