We turned up after deciding against staying in a hotel in the centre that we had booked. We were on our way from Holland to the UK via the ferry. The rooms are small, but clean and neat. Couldn't fault the staff the the hotel, on the whole they were very friendly and helpful. However, the room was very spacious, but the furniture and fittings made it very bare and basic - similar in feel to what I would imagine a young offenders institution to feel like. Etap is Etap, you pay your money and you get what you know you are going to get..... except of course there are clean and new Etap and there are dirty and scruffy Etap, and this is definately the former. Accor hotels have this site sown up withe both Ibis and Suitehotel sharing the car park. Personally, I'm not sure... more
