We spent Christmas at Hotel Cyvadier and had a wonderful time. We arrived Christmas Eve and Christoph welcomed us and quickly showed us our rooms. This is a beautiful spot in Jacmel but they were not busy. The food was horrible and my husband got violently ill after eating 'tai curry lambi.' The coconut cream in this dish was probably spoiled and he got sick within an hour of ingesting. Also I had ordered the fish but didn't really touch it because it smelled bad.... more

Amazing food, beautiful beach, friendly staff! Vendors and locals on the beach were very nice. My friend had an accident while hiking and the owner and staff were beyond helpful. I also recommend Tour Haiti for your trip. more
