Three weeks at home in Perth after a cruise from Nice to Istanbul on the spur of the moment I decided we needed some sun and sea and should go to Coral Bay. Coral Bay, Hello this is 2008..... thought I had entered a time warp and gone back 100 years... The place is limited! Beautiful yes, but do not expect anything other than very expensive, limited ,and VERY basic amenities. There is nothing remotely even 2.5 star up there. It is also extremely sandy and windy.. Campers beware…I was ready to pack... more

Only hotel in town apart from backpackers. Good facilities and kitchenette but would recommend to bring as much food with you as possible as only 2 little supermarkets in town and very expensive. We had a garden view apartment but the balcony was facing away from the beach and in the shade all the time and as it was so... more
