I live near Pahoa so Paolo's is my local. The Hilo side of the island is not well served with fine dining, so Paolo's is like a breath of fresh air. “The campsite is dirty and ramshackle”

We didn't see the hostel, but the campsite does not resemble their website at all. The kitchen is disgusting, shower outside with no privacy and the toilet is a health hazard. Don't pay money to stay here- the state parks must be a better bet than this. more

I met Rebecca Raynor the Yoga teacher who conducts retreats in Hawaii last month and immediately fell in love with the idea of a getaway to Hawaii while healing the body, mind and soul simultaneously.
