We had an excellent one night stay in the Haleakala Hale as part of our honeymoon trip. It is a beautiful room with lots of privacy. Staying with friends fell through, so we called same-day and got one of the cheaper rooms in the Volcano Hale. It is on a different street from the main Chalet, but we were prefectly happy.
