We were finalizing plans for our trip to Hawaii, but we had some difficulty finding accommodations on the beautiful island of Kaua`i. Kapaa Sands

Staff was nice enough...rooms clean but old. Definitely not high end but good central location if you plan on doing a lot of exploring. Great food right up the street in downtown Kapa'a. Didn't stay in the room but to sleep so worked well. more
Kauai Beach House

The Kauai beach house is a large character house, right on the Kapa'a walk /bike path and bus lines. There are a couple of awnings and tents out front that provide an outdoor setting if it isreally raining, if it isn't raining then I'd recommend getting out during the days and exploring the island.
