We were visiting Kauai with another couple and decided to take the airplane tour. It was great. We were the only passengers and we had excellent views from both sides of the plane. Kauai is beautiful and to get a sense of its various vegetation types it is best seen from the air more

Good, local (Chinese-Japanese-Korean) and pseudo-American food. Set meals come with soup and dessert. Lots of pies and cakes to choose from. The place is like Cheers, everyone seems to know everyone else, both customers and service staff alike. It's hawaiian comfort food at its best. more

If you're looking to do a helicopter tour of Kauai (and there's good reason - the most beautiful parts are accessible only by air), the doors-off Hughes 500 is the only way to go.
