This "vacation club" is all about greedy revenue generation, lies and bad customer service. Many of their ocean view rooms don't have it. Also, be carful when you reserve a "mountain view" room category because many of those rooms have parking lot views or ugly industrial plant view. The serivce is terrible. We live in Hawaii and frequently go to the Ihilani for weddings, events, or just to hang out at the beach. We have never stayed at the hotel ourselves. For our very first visit, we went for two nights since we had out-of-town guests. We loved the rooms...the bathroom was super spacious (just hate the slotted doors on the bathroom!)... more

Wife and I stayed at the Marriott time share. Had a great time. Nice place. Although we went sans kiddies, there were lots of families there.
