My husand and I took the driving tour and are so glad we didn't miss this. I had always invisioned Antietam as a small area with a bridge and nearby field. Was I ever more wrong....it is amazing what our history books do NOT teach us. We took our time and read every plaque along the battlefield(s). I was amazed... more

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the jacob Rohrbach Inn and a visiting the nearby Antietam Battlefield.
