After visiting Yorktown Battlefield, my girlfriend and I checked our tour book and chose Carrot Tree for lunch. Excellent place! Their sandwiches are named after and appropriate for regional history. Thai Erawan is FANTASTIC. GREAT FOOD..GREAT SERVICE....there is nothing more that can be said for this place. the management is perfect and they make u feel at home as soon as you walk into the restaurant. For lunch or dinner, everything is great......make it 3 star all the time!!!!! more

Only had breakfast here (once). Sausage was dried and cold. Smoking and beer drinking at the bar at 9am tells you a little about the clientele. more

The local watering hole. Great food (I love the seafood combo) and good selection of beers and drinks. Live rock bands on Saturdays. There is smoking allowed, so if you don't like that, it is a problem sometimes. But definitely a regular for those who like a good time. more

We visited the Yorktown River Inn for 4 nights and stayed in the Washington Suite. It was wonderful... very relaxing stay and loved all the Washington memorabilia and talking w/Bill, and the wonderful breakfasts of course! We hope to go back again, and told friends about it!
