Mount Rushmore National Memorial

Visisted July 20, 2009, with husband and kids (17 & 12). You just can't believe how large this is until you are actually there. The line to get in to park was a little ong but moved quickly. It is definately worth the $10 to park so that you can take the trail that leads right up under the monument.... more

We visisted on July 20, 2009, on our way to see Mt. Rushmore. I thought it would be neat for the kids to see, but it was just OK. I think our visists to caves were more interesting than the gold mine. The gift shop was small, parking was not great, you have to wear a yellow hard hat. The... more
