The menu made everything sound delicious. I had so been looking forward to having Thanksgiving Dinner at Pastiche, but was so disappointed. I don't think I've ever had drier saltier tougher turkey! We stayed twice in the casita, 2 weeks in Feb and 10 days end April. We came for warmer weather and desert flora and fauna, found that and so much more. Well smoked meats, pork, ribs, chicken, brisket and sausage. Not smothered in sweet sauce ..... just good smoked meat. Sauce can be added or on the side. Very good sides. Small but pleasant eating area. Family owned and operated, and a very friendly family. Take outs and catering. Catered the 2008 Super Bowl Tailgate Party. Locally reviewed and recommended. more
