As a Buffalo native, I knew what I was getting in the area where this hotel is. Yes, it is an old city, and it's not pretty at the ground level (although there is some beautiful architecture if you look up). My husband and I along with another couple stayed 1 night at the LA while in Buffalo for shopping. It is right off the highway, only cost $85US per night and was clean. The rooms are large and the beds were fine. This hotel is perfect for a 1 night stop over or for cross border shopping, please don't hesitate... more
