The Good: Ivy Lodge is a beautiful place to stay with an ideal location for the Cliff Walk and The Elms Mansion. (Note that you will need the car to drive to the downtown wharf area.) Great experience. Room was lovely with a nice king sized bed and beautiful view. Staff was extremely helpful in advice. They even called our room after we checked in to see if things were OK. The next day they did the same thing. The Italian restaurant they suggested (Mama Luisa) was phenomenal, and I'm an Italian from NY. more

My husband and I recently had a wonderful stay at the Pelham Court Hotel. You cannot beat this location - near all of the shops, restaurants and nightlife that Newport has to offer. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which had a nice size living room with sofa, coffee table and flatscreen, eat in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.... more
