Whiptail Grill

We had read the reviews and decided we would do an early dinner before heading back to Las Vegas. I got the beef burrito smothered with cheese and green sauce, and the table got guacamole and chips. This kitchen likes to use some heat which I liked. The burrito was very very good and very spicy as requested. The service... more

Pioneer Lodge

30 Nov 2008

I visited Zion National Park with some friends recently and stayed at the Pioneer Lodge. The Lodge exceeded any expectations we might have had. It has incredibly comfortable rooms, is in a picturesque location, has a pool and hot tub, is very close to the Park, and has some of the friendliest people on staff. This place has a cool,... more

Our extended family stayed in three rooms during Thanksgiving week. We appreciated the quaint, rustic decor, but there were stains on the bedspreads and various signs of wear and tear in the room. We were glad to have a large mini-fridge and microwave because we provided our own breakfast. The room was somewhat cramped, and the two chairs were uncomfortable.... more

Zion Park Motel

29 Nov 2008

All seemed okay (standard for an older property).Owners were nice but BEWARE !!!!! If you smoke, they see you smoking outside the room and charge you $25 for extra cleaning for smoking in the room. Why would we smoke outside in the freezing cold ???? If we were going to smoke in the room? We stayed at four UPSCALE motels/hotels... more

My family and I stayed here June 2007 when we were visiting Zion park. What a great little place! In fact, after checking out the other choices, I consider it the BEST! The cabins are set away from the road, private and shaded with large windows overlooking the mountains. They are all set up in a large semi-circle with a... more

Extremely poor service, mediocre food and expensive prices. We waiting for 20 minutes before the owners even acknowledged us even though there were a number of empty tables. We finally gave up and ordered take-out which took 40 minutes instead of the promised 15 minutes. The Pad Thai noodles were horrible and had to cut with a knife in order... more

Wildcat Willie's Restaurant

27 Nov 2008

We traveled to Zion for Thanksgiving and this feast was more exciting then the park. The food was amazing. We also ate dinner and breakfast here before the holiday. The service was great and the owner even stopped by to say hello to our table. He made sure we were taken care of. The saloon looked very inviting and fun. more

Wildcat Willie's Restaurant

Wow! The best Thanksgiving dinner I personally have ever had. I have been coming to Zion for Thanksgiving for years now and I thought I would give Wildcat Willie's a try this year. Chef Gary who I met at the carvers table was in charge of the feast and truly held nothing back. Everything on my plate was incredible. I... more

My wife I went to zion last week and stop in the Pioneer restaurant for some dinner. My wife and I both got the prime rib. It was cooked the way we asked with little wait time. The service was great and the place was nice inside. We also share dessert, which was a pumpkin pie, and man was it... more

Flanigan's Inn

24 Nov 2008

We stayed at Flanigans at the end of October, and can't fault it. The room was spacious (slept 2 adults & 2 teenagers, 1 in a roll-away bed). Fixtures and fittings were very high standard, the beds were extremely comfortable. The toiletries (all organic) and tea & coffee facilties were excellent. The room contained a little fridge. Views all round... more

Our first trip to Zion and we wanted a B&B that offered what B&Bs do best: peace, quiet, comfort, good food, interesting guests and reliable local knowledge. We found all of this in spades at Trista & Matt's Canyon Vista. The only thing missing was what we assumed would be a good view of the scenery, but we had so... more

I stayed at Under the Eaves for 5 nights in september 2008. I found this place the most basic of the B&Bs I stayed in during my 4 week trip to the states.I didn't see much of Steve ( the owner ) as he was away on vacation until the last night & his partner Debbie was always hounding me... more

Stayed 3 nights end of September. Thoroughly impressed. Stayed on 1st floor of newest building overlooking Virgin River. No noise issues at all from either side or above, despite inn being full. Must have gone through with carpeting of 2nd floor rooms. Rooms as have been described: very comfortable beds/pillows. Nice TV set-up with DVD players. Took advantage of laundry... more

Best Western Zion Park Inn

It is one of the best hotel I had during my tour in the West. The room was big (we are a family of 4), clean and really nice. It has a great location and surrounding. Though the hotel was fully booked it didn't seem so. I recommend this hotel very warmly. Orit more

Majestic View Lodge was the first stop of our 10 day adventure at 5 Utah Parks, and none of our other lodgings could compare. We completely enjoyed our stay there. I was a bit concerned about the lodge being far from the park, but that wasn't an issue at all. We were able to get to the park within minutes,... more

Stayed her for one night during our Utah/Vegas Road trip. The check-in was great, and its a very convenient spot, right outside of the park. Springdale is a very cool town. The hotel room we got was huge (King River Suite on 2nd Floor) and it was a very modern, new agey feel. The deck was magnificent with Adirondack chairs... more

We have stayed at the Novel House several times and every time we have found it to be a complete delight. The owners are incredibly warm, friendly, and accomodating. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed, and we love being able to have tea or coffee, play Scrabble, or read any of the abundant novels in the living room... more

We stayed for 2 nights in October in a King room overlooking the pool. The room was very large and comfortable with a private balcony and a kitchenette. We had a late lunch here on our trip through Zion Natl. Park in late September. The burgers were huge and to die for. Wish we had returned for dinner that night instead of trying Bit n Spur down the street. Not fancy but delicious food. Burgers so large we split one for lunch. more
