Nice enough - clean and tidy - best place in Semporna by some margin. Room was clean and good sized for £20 a night. Stayed here for one night before transfer to Mabul Island. more

Scuba Junkie Hotel & Diving

Having read the reviews here, there appears to be two places Scuba Junkie operates, one on Mabul Island and one in mainland Sabah in Semporna. We stayed at the Mabul Island resort and it was amazing (compared to Billabong Scuba this place is complete heaven!!!) We paid 180RM for one night between us. Rooms are large, well decorated and kept clean. Pleasant reception staff. Breakfast was large buffet but cooked stuff usually warm at best. Several times failed to get breakfast ready for 7am (bit of a pain when wanting an early feed before going diving). Main restaurant seemed very expensive and hardly anyone seemed to eat there.
