Had 3 meals in this village pub, in the last few weeks, and have to say we have been more than pleased with the overall service and quality. We stayed in Oak Cottage and received a warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Even with all the snow, we had a lovely week. The standard of the cottage was better than expected, modern, clean and very well equipped, one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The Christmas decorations were a treat and made the cottage homely.... more
