Amazingggg, extraordinary, beautiful, very caring staff, very tasty foood. I loved it at 5:30AM u will find hot water ready so u take ur shower, at 6:00 am u will find ur breakfast ready so u take it and go for ur safari. Electricity is on only from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. more

Liked best: location overlooking Nile River; wildlife; pool with swim-up bar. Liked least: rooms could be too warm, esp with mosquito netting. Need to know: Electrical power is off at specific times, like from 1am to 5am. more

This place has so much going for it. Beautiful, isolated, wild location (baboons, warthogs monkeys etc can be seen and heard) clean and spacious bandas (insect free!), camp fire, pool and large bar. Stayed at Red Chilis, fine meals and ambiance. They have a safari camp, and also a hostel in Kampala - good place to stay the night before as trip leaves 8 AM. $170/person for 3 day minivan adventure is a deal. Up at 7am in Kampala. No hot water. Should have known if there's no hot water in the capital it's downhill from there. Breakfast is fine, hit the road with Emma, my guide. Being South AFrican, i thought i had seen it all, but i saw more game in Murchison Falls national park on one trip then ive seen in a lifetime, herds of Hippo, Giraffe, Elephants, buck, wildebeest, Crocs, Fish Eagles, a cheetah.
