This is a 70s large hotel, very well located, abandoned during the 80s and 90s, renovated and reopened recently. Unfortunately the renovation was only partial. Stayed at Hotel Violetta on Oct. 11, 2009. It is centrally located on the strip overlooking the water. First floor balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard and and the sea, with its mountainous background. We stayed 2 nights only and that was enough. The room was far too small, service very poor. Overall it looks like a retirement home rather than an hotel.
