The rooms were large (we had room 19), the outside looked exactly like a proper castle and the inside was very lovely too, the big old fireplaces and the smell of burning oak was amazing. This hotel is quite possibly THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. One night was one night to many.Room 6 was like living in a cold wardrobe. bedbugs drink human blood and they could still be waiting for more victims in room 204.after spending 4 nights in that room my wife and I returned home with about fifty bites between us.when we conacted management the responce was"bedbugs,there is nothing you can do abou them ,this a hotel and all hotels have bedbugs" dont think we will visit... more
