A good standard of accommodation in a hotel setting but with some basic kitchenette facilities. Resort was quite in early November so facilities were not busy but would be different in high season. Did not sample the hotel food but some good local restuants within walking distance. more

We arrived about 10:00am and our room was not ready until about 2:00pm, which was fine so we were able to hang around and check out the facilities at the Pestana Viking Resort, which were typical of a Pestana 4* Hotel.
