This hotel was meant to be a get away for a 21st birthday but it was awful. The travel there took about three hours with us being dropped off at the wrong hotel first! .Ended up at Platja Park after booking in to the calata palace with sun4you. We only booked a week before and it became evident that the hotel was closed when we booked the holiday. We were not given any explanation as to why the hotel was closed. The first room we were given looked out on to a wall, so... more

Luckily we didn't see any rats around the pool as claimed in previous reports, however there was a several times a day bombardement of seagull poo and lots of flies . Although the seagull problem wasn't anything the hotel could do anything about they could certainly have cleaned the floor around the pool and the sun loungers to remove it.... more
