“Great place, not in yabucoa”

The food was very good. Better than all the American chains everywhere. Friendly service too. However, know that it is not in yabucoa. Go south on 901 away from yabucoa towards the coast (and el Negro) (or don't even go to yabucoa if you're going south down 53, just head right down 901). It's way up the hill. Good luck. more

Very relaxed, casual atmosphere. After waiting about 10 minutes, we got a clean table . Small okay bathroom, but friendly service. I loved the plantain "Mofongo" stuffed with local lobster meat topped with garlic sauce. Delicious! Definitely ask for one with garlic sauce. The town has a lot of little bar/ restaurants and nice little beach areas. The area is not over run with tourists. Great kick back little town. They do have Burger King, Churches Chicken, Ralphs Supermarket and Walgreens and many little stores near the Downtown area. Lots of police so we felt very safe. The people in Puerto Rico are... more
