We stayed two nights at the Hotel L'Ecrin when we went to visit the Piton de la Fournaise volcano. It is situated right on the bus route from St-Pierre to St-Benoit and a few minutes’ walk from the Maison du Volcan museum, almost at the crossroads to the Route du Volcan, the road leading to the Piton.
