I have spent three days at the hotel, with the intent to explore Siena countryside. The room was spacious and clean, well furnished and warm. but I was deeply disappointed by the location of the hotel, that is just on the side of a motorway! When you are escaping from a crowded city, you ask for a place of silence... more

What a wonderful respite in the middle of the countryside near Siena! We came upon this as we were driving around lost, and were welcomed in the middle of the night (literally) by the wonderful host, Ignazio (I believe, was his name).
