Stayed a few years ago, but just logged on to see how it stacks up on tripadvisor - and noticed there were no reviews! I honestly loved this place. It's worth leaving Accra for some great beaches (so SO much cleaner), nice dining with good food in an open air dining area overlooking the ocean...and we got the family sized... more

If you haven't been to the Beach Resort at Ankobra lately, put it on your agenda next time, because the place has seen a grand transformation! There's a new German management in place and the change is palpable: new childrens' playground, attentive management, better food and services. The old magic is back, the beach is still magnificent, clean and safe.... more

we stayed in ankobra for almost a week. the beach is wonderful - clean and flat - and the bungalows are perfect for the few steps from the beach so you can take an afternoon siesta. the staf are friendly and helpful. there was no hassle - as you sometimes have on the beach in ghana.
