Sadly at this hotel I felt severely disadvantaged being a single person. I travelled with friends but I was given a "cupboard" for a room and was consigned to the back seat of the coach. Many areas in the hotel were cold and we were unable to use them in spite of the the coal fires which were a treat.... more

In June we booked a three night break over the New Year period – excluding the celebrations and meal. Having booked a three night stay for £ 99 each B&B we proptly upgraded to Loch view (£ 25 all in) and two extra nights (£ 66 each) and following a very long drive from Essex were presently surprised. The hotel is very old. The rooms probably need updating although, that is not why we chose to spend our anniversary... more
