Excellent indoor ski centre with real snow. We didn't actually ski but did 'carving' and 'tubing' as a Hen Party activity. Great fun but exhausting! Carving involves a perilous (!) downhill hurtle on a large sled that is, to an extent, steerable and then there's the uphill tramp so's you can do it all over again. The tubing involves a... More

It's really cheap now to ski at Chill Factore, £20 for most of a day. Good food outlets, good shops, really a great day.

Ski facility Chill Factore in Trafford is a great alternative arrangement for someone like me who is perpetually thinking of an avalanche when a someone suggests a ski holiday.... in fact I have missed out two ski holidays with my partner because of my fear. But a visit to the chill factor has helped me soothe those feelings and perhaps... More

We took our 5 & 8 year old on a tubing session and really enjoyed it. Being a bit of a wimp, I was not keen to ski first time so this was a good way in & a chance to look at the skiing before trying! The staff were helpful and friendly and it was all very well organised.... More

It's hardly thrill a minute. Virtually no snow in the kids area. It was like a cheap kids play area on ice. Both mine came out after 10 mins really bored. The food took an age to come, chips weren't cooked and ice cream so hard it snapped the spoons in two. Given how expensive the parties are... I'd save... More

Chill factore is definitely more set up for beginners than people who can already ski. As I haven't been skiing for a while I thought I would try Chill Factore as I have missed not being able to ski. At first it was ok the slope was very very icy but there was some good snow at the sides of... More

Thank you for taking your time to write to us with your comments regarding your recent visit. I am sorry to hear this session was not as enjoyable as it could have been. Our Main Slope is designed for both beginners and competent skiers and boarders. To try and challenge our more competent guests, we have bi-weekly Freestyle Evenings on... More

I visit Chill Factore relatively regularly and always enjoy it. Sure, when it's peak, expect to queue. I was pleasantly surprised on 6th April to book a 2 hour lift pass; expecting to queue as it was a Saturday afternoon and there was an offer on, but we were straight back on the lifts! I always look out for the... More

Enjoyed the lesson but the centre was disorganised. We were still waiting for boots and ski's when we should have been on the slope. We also had a very mixed group that meant we didn't get the most out of it.. also the slope was very full meaning classes were colliding. A good intro though

Been here a few times whilst my partner learnt to ski. Skiing instructors (she had 4 private lessons) were good, although I felt they held her back a bit too long. Once she was "allowed" on the slope on her own then she progressed much quicker with my instruction. That's not bigging my ability up, just felt that it was... More

I have been here twice now. Once for a 'try ski' session and once for a day's lesson. Look for on-line booking bargains (either on the Chill Factore website or sites like Groupon) - they are always available and can save a lot of £££ than just going straight to the Chill Factore booking area. I had a really good... More
