This beach is amazing the surf is even better,the back drop is picture post card with the cobbled stone road thats winds down the beach with the houses built into the cliffs and rocks faces.

I regulary go to this beach and I would like to point out that anyone who is not fit, or parents with very young children and pushchairs may find access to the beach via a very steep road difficult. This beach is located on the southwest cost of Portugal in a nature preserve. Virtually untouched landscape. Rolling mountains paired with a long shallow beach was paradise to see.
