I went to Saut-Mathurine a long time ago, I was probably 9 or 10 years old and I remember how beautiful it was there. The waterfall, I had never seen one before. The journey to Saut Mathurine, the biggest waterfall of Haiti, is far from easy. From Les Cayes one has to drive north to Camp Perrin (to Jeremie) and then find the path to the waterfall.....I was lucky...I found someone who was going there with a 4x4....it took me a bit more than two hours each way....travelling with the locals on... more
