I've been a Hello Kitty collector for years and only ever dreamed of going to Sanrio Puroland - and this place did meet all my expectations and more! Firstly, getting there from Tokyo is a bit tricky. You have to make your way to Shinjuku station and find the Keio station (follow the signs in Shinjuku station) - it's a... More

I have always been a Sanrio collector/fan but never visited Puroland until last year. My husband and I took my then 3-year old daughter to Puro land last February 2011. The place is exactly how I dreamt it to be. Totally cute in every way!!! Plenty of shows and activities to enjoy for toddlers. My daughter loved Hello Kitty's house... More

went here during my second day in tokyo- as it was on the top of my to do list! it was ah-mazing!! i loved every second of it, it's kind of cheesy and expensive, but i think it's worth every dollar!! the shops are a little overwhelming because there's sooo much to buy but it was cool to walk around... It's the very first time to visit this wonderful attraction. There's musical show that all members of sanrio family were participate. Then different sanrio rides and games you can play. There's a prize once you select the prize but you need to pay 500yen. Over all my daughter enjoyed so much and also me and my husband.. More

Did not plan to go to Hello Kitty Park, formally known as Sanrio Puraland, but so glad I went. Initially, i was underwhelmed upon entering the entrance hall", but then went down to the main level where the first attraction you are guided to is a boat ride through their version of "it's a small world". Most of the park... More

Its more then 40 min by train to tama center from Shinjuku. There are few plaza and 2-3 hotels in that area, but its more like outskirts of Tokyo. The biggest drawback - every thing is in Japanese and very few can speak basic English. All the shows are in Japanese and there is only 2 rides - boat ride... More

My kids love Hello Kitty so naturally they loved it here. Contrary to what other people said here wasn't alot of people when we visited on a Sunday. Ticket was $4400 yen for adult so it wasn't cheap. The place is all indoors and probably 1/5 the size of Disney but you pay 2/3 of the cost! Anyways we loved... More

Kids loved it, nightmare for parents! Its Hello Kitty gone nuts! Be prepared for no English on the limited rides or shows. Not set up for foreign tourists what so ever. Buy your tickets at a discount store at one of the subway stations, we paid Y2000 each for our passport which was 50% off. Its quite a long way... More

It takes about 1 hr from Shinjuku. Be sure to take the rapid or express not the local train. You get some special birthday treat if it is your birthday month. The live show is good with English and Mandarin subtitles. Unless you are a fan of Hello Kitty otherwise this place is not for you. Most of the facilities... More

If you are a great fan of Hello Kitty, this is definitely the right place for you! The main attraction of this place is Hello Kitty! You can enjoy the rides there although they are more designed for kids rather than adults. Not a very big place but cosy. Recommend this place if you are a big fan of Hello... More
