Worth a visit to see the sramble corner and the statue of Hachiko the dog which is a famous meeting place right in front of the station.

If you're a fan of Lost in Translation, this neighborhood is a must. There are tons of shops and restaurants and people and traffic and craziness. There isn't a lot to "do" other than walk around taking it all in, but if you're in Tokyo, it's worth a couple of hours to wander.

Apart from the amazing crowd crossing the world's busiest junction, this is also a most interesting place to see what the hip japanese youth are dressing in. Hang around late on a friday/saturday night, you get to see the most interesting people. Love this country.

Do you know you are really in Tokyo when you left the subway station at Hachiko exit. First say "hello" to Hachiko. The go to Shibuta crossing and drift with the people in the streets. I love this place at night time. You will see the amazing neon screens.

The famous crossing is just outside the metro station (which is on the main metro line), so (no matter how short your trip to Tokyo) stop to check it out. The view from Starbucks (entered via the record store below it) is fantastic - you're not meant to take pictures there, but the staff don't police that very well!
